What a difference a year makes. Remember back in the day when really it was only Michael Jackson and his family wearing a mask? We never really thought that was going to be our future. Oh and then the year 2020 came to be.
You may be tempted. You may just think you know I am wearing a scarf I will be protected. Why wear a mask and a scarf? Well because that is the only way you can guarantee your protection from the virus.
Smiling is an important thing to be able to do. I mean who doesn't want a smiling face greeting you. Even with a mask on people can still tell if you are smiling. It’s just another thing we had to learn in 2020. It doesn't matter if it is at work, school or wherever a smile is one o…
I still find it surreal to see so many people walking around with masks on. I never thought that this is what 2020 had in store for us. I don't know how many times I get to the door at Walgreens or United and have to walk back to grab my mask.
You may have started to feel like you are a teenager all over again. Like 2020 hasn't given us enough already. It's also leading to a case of the maskne's. What is that? Well it is what it sounds like. Acne caused my wearing a mask.
I get it. There has not been a whole lot to be happy about in 2020. We just have to try. We need to get past all this and on to how things should be. The normal part of life again. Sometimes we just need to fake that smile until it's real.
We were so happy to ring in 2020. Remember when we were all complaining about 2019? You remember. Right? Here we are towards the end of July and I feel that our new normal is nothing like we anticipated back when we hated 2019 so much.
Are you used to wearing that mask yet? I know they are not the easiest to get used to. I have tried. That is sometimes the toughest part. I know that masks have become a normal part of our days. The state of Texas has mandated that we have to wear one. There are still people mad about it.
