806 Health Tips: Life Skills We Are Learning In 2020
We are learning a lot through this pandemic. We are learning how to wear a mask. We learned how to wash our hands correctly. We have learned how to use Zoom. Well most of us have.
So one of the best things about 2020 is having to learn life skills that make it a bit easier to get through all of this. We have learned things just to make our lives easier. We have learned how to be more productive.
Some more things we have learned on our journey through 2020 include focus. We have had to use that more to get through working from home. You are on task and here comes the dog, or your child, you have had to learn to work past all the distractions.
We have also had to learn to be a little more patient with others. Maybe you have been waiting a little longer for a response on an email. We have also had to realize that maybe you are really ready to get back to normal. It just may take a little longer.
How about the gratitude? Yes, 2020 has been a crazy year but we have to be thankful for the things we have. A lot of us have been able to spend a lot more time with family. Everything is not all bad. We have to still count our blessings. We haven't been able to have the huge family gatherings at Memorial Park. We weren't able to easily take the family for a shopping excursion at Westgate Mall. We understood that but we could still be grateful for the family time we have.
We have gotten good at just letting things go.There really is nothing about this year that we can control. So we learned not to sweat the small stuff. I mean what is the use anyway?
So we know life will get back to normal at some point. It's nice to know that this year is not a total waste. We have learned a lot and we have used it for our benefit.
