Mommy Blogger Christy K. – From Stressed Mess To Calm and Collected

Today, all is right with the world!  I have been stressed to the max, waiting to find out where I would be interning after grad school, when I would be moving, where I would live, how my final exams would turn out…

What a difference a week can make!  I landed my dream job (not to mention I got a second very good offer!), have possibly found a place to live, and have a plan for when I will be moving!

I also got my grades today for my final graduate semester… hello, 4.0!  Life is funny that way… once you sit back and relax, and accept that God really does know what he is doing, things tend to fall into place.

Now with fewer things to stress about, I can focus on the remaining important things… studying for and passing my comprehensive exams and licensing exam!  Yes, that is a pretty large stressor, but with some of the other things under control, a weight has been lifted.  I am ready to get through this next couple of months so that I can finally begin my career.  There is a lot to be said for stability, which I have not had a lot of in my adult life.  Moving from city to city and attending 6 different colleges has finally culminated into the completion of my master’s degree coursework and a career that I know was meant for me.

It is definitely an exciting time in my life, and I can’t wait to see what is around the corner!
