I went to the post office the other day to mail out some Christmas gifts. Usually, I just go the gift card route. So much easier. I just have to put the gift card in an envelope with a regular old stamp. Mission accomplished.
I remember when I first moved out I enjoyed checking my mail each and every day. I had a minor sense of excitement of what may be coming in each day. That excitement seems to dwindle as I realize it is always bills that are coming in.

Remember back just a short while ago when we would get mail that invited us to birthday parties? We would get save the dates for weddings. There would be a lot of gender reveals. Then last year hit and a lot of those things were shut down. Here we are and things are starting to open up.
Sometimes you just have a week. You know what I am talking about. You just need a good laugh. I got that this week and hopefully this can make you smile too. I am in no means complaining. To me it was just funny. My daughter blamed me saying my handwriting is bad.
