When Your Cat Actually Earns Her Keep!

Cats they are interesting creatures. They don't care about pleasing you. They don't care how you feel. They just care about their needs. Really you know it is true!

My cat, Twilight, she is very social. Doesn't matter who comes over....she is all up in their business. I think she is hoping for a treat or to get rubbed. She has me trained. When I leave for work in the morning she will annoyingly meow until I give her a few treats.

If she is without food....she will let me know. If she wants out in the backyard....yep I know about it. She is a great cat, she is....but she hasn't been much of a benefit to me until recently.

I let her out in the backyard because she sat by the back door and let me know that there was where she wanted to be. I let her stay out for a bit....and she meowed when she wanted back in.

So as I opened the door....I finally saw where she paid for her keep. (don't look below if you don't want to see what she brought me).

She left it at my back door like she was all proud. To be honest with you....I was! She killed a total of 3 baby mice and left them all for me. I am ok with that. There are 3 less mice in the neighborhood.
