We all know that health is an important part of our life. We also should know that mental health is just as important. We want to do as much as we can to make sure both sides of the spectrum are taken care of.

We know that we can work out and eat healthy to improve our health. What can we do to improve our mental health? One way is to find someone to talk to. That is a great way. I ran across this the other day and I feel if more of us do this....it can really uplift our spirits.

There is a nonprofit called Mental Health America that is trying to help with the mental health issue. They launched a new program that lets you send inspirational text messages to total strangers. So that right there can help you. I mean the idea that you are helping will make you feel good about yourself.

The kicker is that then you will receive one back a few minutes later. So it is a win-win situation. You will have to sign up to get the texts so that means only people that WANT them will receive them.

All you have to do is text the word "JOIN" to 37352. After that you will be guided through the rest of the process. So go ahead and give it a try. You can help someone and in return receive a positive text back. Technology is a great way to connect with others. What a great idea.
