It gets close to the end of a semester. You know you will have those dreaded finals coming up. Do you pull an all-nighter to study? It may do you more harm than good.

A new study found that pulling an all-nighter to study and cram for a test is not a good thing. You're better studying a little less and getting a good night's sleep.

The researchers say it's because the stuff you learn mostly gets committed into your memory while you are sleeping. So if you don't get enough sleep, you're a lot less likely to remember what you studied.

So get your sleep before a big test. Oh and start studying earlier. I know. I know.
