In Amarillo If At First You Don’t Succeed
So last year I went into the gardening season all hopeful. I love harvesting. I love having fresh veggies that I grow myself.
I end up with tomatoes, zucchini, jalapeños and herbs. Last year I got really hopeful.
It was the first time I saw ghost peppers on the shelf for sale. I bought a plant. I wanted to try. I had such high hopes. I really love spicy and let's just say you can't get much spicier than a ghost pepper? I really did have high hopes.
In the end did I get a pepper? Nope not one. I am not even sure why not. I grow everything else. I get plenty of tomatoes and squashes. Oh and the herbs are a plenty. Why can’t I grow these?
Did I put too much pressure on them? I only bought one plant. Maybe that was it. I really love hot stuff.
Hot sauces are my friend. I really love hot peppers too. So I upped my game.
I bought 3 plants this year. Three more ghost pepper plants. I also got more tomatoes and squashes.
So fingers crossed. Here is to a successful 2019 Garden.
