A lot of things that we have done in the past is not in our normal day in and day out these days. We can't go out and eat AT a restaurant. We have to bring it home. It's just how it is right now.

We can't go get our hair, nails or anything else like that done for us. Another thing we all have to get used to. Oh and let's talk about working out. Gone are the days right now of driving up to our favorite place and getting our workout on. We have to find new ways to stay fit.

A lot of us have realized that home has to be the place to get a sweat on. If you don't have equipment that can really lead to challenges. Even if you do there  are still other things you have to prepare for.

We have to make sure that we have enough room to get a good workout in. I mean lets say we decide to get cardio in by jump roping. That sounds like a good idea. Well that is until you start hitting your ceiling with the rope. So you need to make sure you clear some space or even hit the back yard for your next sweat session.

Make sure your shoes are good and supportive. You don't want to go for a run to the park and remember there was a reason you stopped wearing those shoes. A good workout does not end with blisters on your feet. So start off the correct way.

If you are working out in your home you need some sunlight. It sure makes it a lot more enjoyable. So open up the curtains. Oh and even the windows. Get some fresh air. Again if you can go outside that will sure put you in the right state of mind.

The best part about working out at home is that you can work out for 15 - 20 minutes then get back to work. Oh and then hit the "gym" again later on. It makes the workday go better. Drop and do some push-ups. Go for a walk around the block. You don't have to get your whole workout done in one setting. That is the beauty of this all.

Don't forget the basics either. Just because you are not at a gym doesn't mean you can forget the stretching and cool down. You don't want to kill your body all in one day. Start off at a slow pace and work your way up to it. Your body will thank you for it.
