Are you one of those that hear about a new health fad and run right out to buy it? Do you do your research first?

I mean there are some things you just shouldn't waste your money buying.

If you heard that vitamin D helps you and your heart. That is one thing that was just discovered not to be true. Studies have been found to show a link between heart disease and you not having enough vitamin D. The problem is that taking a pill won't help you.

You need to end up helping your heart the old fashioned way. You need to eat healthy and get out and exercise. Oh and if you smoke, you need to stop.

Do you spend your money on anti-aging cream? I know we all want a quick fix. We don't want to look old either. The problem is that those creams don't really work for everyone. The ones that they do work for well they don't work a lot. Meaning you don't really notice a lot of change. The best thing to help your skin is to use sunblock so you don't get those wrinkles.

Do you buy the brown eggs? Do you think the cost difference is OK because they are better for you? Well there really is no difference in nutritional value. If you actually buy the cage-free variety oh and the organic eggs. Those really are better for you. They may also be brown eggs. So if you are looking for healthier make sure you are getting the right ones.

Are you all over the gluten-free foods? We are still waiting on a definite answer on the health benefits of going gluten-free. If you don't have Celiac disease there may not be any benefits. So you only have to go gluten-free if you doctor tells you to.

So it's OK to try some new health tips but make sure you do your research. You want to make sure there really is a benefit.
