806 Health Tip: Ways We Are Avoiding Germs
Have you found yourself being over OCD? I mean making sure not to get any germs. Are you even finding yourself over thinking it all. I know I have. I am thinking a lot more about it. I have always been a massive hand washer but it goes beyond that.
Now when I wash my hands I keep my paper towel, if I am at work, and use that to open any doors in my way. Maybe that is normal. Maybe I am going overboard. Are you doing the same?
We definitely are washing our hands a lot more. We are even washing them for at least 20 seconds. Maybe more. What are some other ways we have changed our daily habits to avoid getting any germs?
Do you find yourself avoiding making any contact with anyone. I mean there is the normal non shaking of hands. That has been going on for awhile. Do you overthink everything now. Where it seems awkward when you run into someone you haven't seen in awhile. I mean you may instinctively go in for a hug or a handshake....then you both do the awkward dance. What do we do now? Do we go ahead and hug or shake hands? What do you do in that situation?
Do you find yourself wiping everything down? I mean everything. You go for those Clorox wipes and you crazily go wiping down everything. You start with all the doorknobs, the remote controls, the refrigerator, stove and then you see your child sitting in front of the TV and you wonder if you should wipe him down too. It's like we all are going a little extreme.
I do love the fact that the stores are wiping down the shopping carts before you grab one. Do you ever run into Market Street or Walmart and find yourself wanting to wipe it again. Just in case?
