Drinks with a lot of sugar are yummy. I know. But they are absolutely horrible for you. I bet you already know that! Right?

Sugary drinks are actually the most fattening thing you can put in your body.

Mainly it's because  liquid sugar calories don't get registered by the brain the same way as calories from solid foods.

Because of this when you drink soda, you end up eating more total calories.

Did you know that fruit juices are just as bad? They contain just as much sugar, and the small amounts of antioxidants do NOT negate the harmful effects of the sugar.

So limit those sugary drinks to do good for your waistline.and health. Instead of reaching for that coke.....how about a nice bottle of water?
